Our commitment
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about Halo Lineage and use it independently. We aim for this website to meet the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. We also design to WCAG 2.1 AA where we can.
What we have done
- Semantic structure with headings, landmarks and a “skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Text alternatives for meaningful graphics, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- Color contrast designed to meet AA, and information never conveyed by color alone.
- Text that can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content, and a layout that adapts to small screens.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” setting of your device, and a button to pause the moving illustration on the home page.
- A full Hebrew version of the home page with correct right-to-left layout.
Known limitations
- The legal pages are currently in English only. A Hebrew version is in preparation.
- The demo at app.halolineage.com is a prototype. Some charts and tables are not yet fully accessible to screen readers. We are working on it, and on request we will walk you through the demo personally.
If you find a page or feature that is hard to use, please tell us. We will answer and work to fix it.
