These terms apply to halolineage.com and to the public demo at app.halolineage.com. Customers who use the Halo Lineage platform in production sign a separate customer agreement, which takes precedence over these terms for that use.
1. Who we are
This website and the demo are provided by Halo Lineage (a company in formation in Israel; until incorporation, the website is operated by its founders) (“Halo Lineage”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at me@idanshchori.com.
2. Accepting these terms
By using the website or the demo you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them. You must be at least 18 years old, and if you use the site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you may bind it.
3. What the website and demo are
- The website describes a software platform for family offices, wealth and fund managers and their clients.
- The demo is an illustration. Every family, person, account, balance, document, fee and figure in it is fictional. Names of real banks, funds and products appear only to make the illustration realistic. Their appearance does not mean they are connected to, partner with or endorse Halo Lineage, and the sample documents were not issued by them.
- Nothing on the website or in the demo is an offer, a recommendation or investment, tax, legal or pension advice. See the disclaimer.
4. Demo access
Access to the demo may require an account or an invitation. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us at once if you think someone else used them. We may suspend or end demo access at any time, for example to protect the service or other users. The demo may be changed, reset or taken offline without notice, and data you enter into it may be deleted.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- enter real personal or financial information about yourself or anyone else into the demo;
- try to gain unauthorized access to any system, account or data, or to test, scan or probe our systems for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- copy, scrape, frame or systematically download the website or the demo, or use them to build a competing product;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the service, except where the law expressly allows it;
- interfere with the service, upload malicious code, or overload our infrastructure;
- use the service in breach of any law, or to mislead anyone about who you are.
6. Pricing shown on the website
Token prices, plans and the cost calculator on the website are illustrations to help you estimate use. They are not a binding quote. Actual commercial terms are set in a signed customer agreement.
7. Intellectual property
The website, the demo, the Halo Lineage name, the ring mark, the design, text, graphics and software are owned by Halo Lineage or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to view the website and use the demo for evaluating Halo Lineage. All other rights are reserved. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without obligation to you.
8. Third-party links and services
The website may link to sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
9. No warranty
The website and demo are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the website or demo will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure at all times.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Halo Lineage will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the website or the demo, or from relying on anything shown in them. Our total liability for any claim related to the website or the demo is limited to 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Halo Lineage for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website or the demo.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the website or the demo after a change, the updated terms apply.
13. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
